I just looked at your cardomain page. Very pretty car. anyways...

I noticed you have an automatic. Generally speaking, stock autos and n20 don't get along to well. You might think about investing in some shift improving devices... so I don't have to drive you home.

Of course you should ask someone who actually knows what their talking about. The 4L60E might be fine for n20 shifts. I just know that the old th350 sure as hell weren't.

Its the Wide Open Throttle Switch or (WOT switch)
you can also mount it under your gas pedal if you have a Drive by wire setup. Set it up so that the switch is tripped, just as the pedal hits the floor.
Or you can buy an electronic unit for your application.

thanks malice, thanks az3.8, i thought it went near the pedal. i planned investing about $4000 in the transmission in about 4-5 months (hopefully). ya, the car dosent have those decals on it anymore, someone keyed it about 2 months ago and that really sucked. i now have GFX and chrome tail pipes. ya, rap sux big ****. somehow i just cant see how they can talk about how bad life is, theyre millionares for christs sake. but back to nitrous, kind of trailed into lounge territory, malice, i would really appreciate it if your roomate could fabricate that piece. just tell me the price and that would be great. the only other question i had was about the purge install, but i could ask when i come down. thanks for all the help.

ok, another problem now. looking at all the parts in the kit it didnt look lke it was all there accoring to the diagram. so i decided to connect the lines to see how to hook it up. i didint screw the fittings too tight so that i could take it off easily later when the actual install came time. well, i got the remote bottle opener on, NOS guage, line to the noids, noids and nitrous pressure regulator, line going out from the noids to the intake and thats where it stops. didnt bother with the vacuume line for measuring reasons. and all the electrical stuff is also not hooked up. well, in the diagram it showed a fan spray nozzle which i could not find. the diagram also showed a bypass jet, and flare jet, yet all i could find was 1 jet (which i cant tell the difference between the bypass or flare so i dont know which one they gave me). what i do have that is left over, excluding the electrical stuff, is the jet (which has the number "47" stamped on it), vacuume hose pressure tee, 4 an x 4 an 90* fitting, nozzle mounting collar, nozzle mounting nut, and what looks to be a 90* bent hose with a threadded fitting at the bottom and is flared at the top. has copper and red annodized fittings. im totally lost now and cant figure out what to do from here. please HELP!

THat is the fan spray nozzle.

As far as everything else is concerned, a picture is worth a thousand words. I will have to see your kit to know what we are working with.

I wish people would make up their minds. I just bough a nitrous set up myself. I read and read and read this forum daily and advice and updates. Now, you all are saying, tranny wont last long spraying through shifts EHHH? Want to explain. Everyone I have talked to on here, and read on here so far say the opposite. In fact the on the NX Express web page, it say in the FAQ that Nitrous is preferred with automatics over manuals, so I say EHH again? Explain people, cause I have read so much about problems with manual people shifting while spraying burning up clutches.

It says in my nitrous owners manual that for racing purposes, if nitrous is used on a:

Manual - Get a better clutch
Auto - Get a performance rebuild

As far as I know they weren't lying, my clutch went fast on nitrous, but I don't know about autos...

I belive it, your clutch went fast. I believe nitrous will shorten the life for any clutch or tranny. I guess it really depends on how you use it and the set up of the vehicle. I just dont know where some people get the information? Pulling it out of thier ars is what I say. I work on facts, not opinions mainly, I just want some justification on the above stated items?

that is a good point... james, your company is invited to this post.
soooo, im sure im missing the spray nozzle and flare jets to the kit, but what jets come with the kit? is it the bypass jet that i have for sure, remember, i mentioned it has a "47" stamped into the side of it. im going to call NOS tomorrow to see about getting all that i need.
