      ok, i got a good one for ya. if the tranny is so bad, what makes it so bad? i mean we have the same 4l60-e tranny as the ls1's right? atleast, thats what i thought. i doubt my car is pushin over 300hp even with the nitrous. and i know guys who hot rod their z28 around here and say nothing bad about their transmission. oh well, i read in gm high tech performance one month that century transmissions could make a solid transmission for under $2000. ill have to dig that issue up.

        With nitrous, and especially with a torque converter you are schoking the tranny. Which makes it slip. NA powerbands are usually a little smoother than blasting your tranny with a 100 shot off the line.

          with a light shot? say 35-50 i would think my stock tranny would be fine. yes? no?
