Which should I buy, which brand? NX or NOS? Is there any difference? Is one better than the other? I did a search, but didnt find an honest opinions on which brand is the best for nitrous applications. Besides the cons of not opening the bottle or closing it to tight, are there any other problems I should be aware before buying one, like maybe electrical problems, or it fudging up the nitrous system. I bought a NX Express wet kit. It would be nice to purchase the NX brand opener, but for 250 bucks, that asking to much I think. NOS brand is about 100 bucks cheaper. Thanks for any timely help on this matter.
NOS is a second selonoid, you must keep your bottle ON all the time, and this turns it off from the rest of the system.
As far as the law is concerned, ect, the nos ones is never closed.. im not sure in your state how the laws are, but if thats a concern, definately get NX.
I installed one last week, sweet piece
if you need a source for the openers a little less than 250 e-mail me.
Ryan.
