Now besides the fuel pump Iknow there is a list of other things that the engine needs to be changed. There r a lot of kits out there how is the Holley NOS kits rated?
My question is how of a shot can 3000II stand up to?
ok, this is from searching because my kit isnt hooked up yet, but the stock 3800 seriesII can take "up to an 85 shot" of nitrous. your pushin it with an 85 shot and so theres that. i think most use the NOS-05175 kit, as opposed to nx, zex, nitrous works, etc, etc. could be wrong, but i just hear more about NOS on the board. being as your a rookie, id recommend using the search feature before you post a question. this topic has been discussed as many times as they say the word "dude" in the movie "dude, wheres my car". but never-the-less, welcome to the board :D .

Your car can hold a 100 shot, if your kit can supply it safetly. 120shot seems to be pushing it.
The NOS kit comes jetted for 85HP, and its a good place to keep it.
From experience, if you go with a dry kit (NOS-5175) then get a fuel pump. It is very hard on the stock pump.
If you go with a wet kit, you can if you want.
Get a new clutch if you have a manual, or a rubuild for your auto.
Its only a matter of time (the auto seems to do ok though).
Good luck, and use a fuel pressure safety switch no matter what.
