Window switchs and auto trannies

okay, i just got a new car, low miles. and i'm thinking about getting nitrous to keep me ahead of the would be killers...

but as im reading this they say that spraying through the shifts is bad in an auto, so if i were to get a window switch and have it at like 3k and dis enguage at like 5600 (at wot auto trannis shift at 5800 correct?) so that it doesnt spray through the shifh or am i missing a piece of the puzzle here?
