When installing a Walbro intank fuel pump, I've noticed a lot of threads indicating that lower the fuel tank is a PITA (which I can easily believe). The popular recommendation now is to install an access panel, which sounds great if I can get a couple questions answered from those whom have done this:
1) What did you use to cut the hole? Sawz-all, dremel tool?
2) How deep do I cut?
3) Whats underneath that I have to watch out for and where is it? (Fuel lines, pump electrics?)
4) Is the pump access located dead center of the rear wheel "hump"?
5) how big of a hole is needed? (So I know what size panel I need?
This is a pre-requisite to installing my NOS kit thats waiting on me...
Thanks!
