    and no one else can f*cking help me--

    I have the TNT f1 kit.

    In the instructions, it shows the pressure guage coming directly off the bottle nut, then the 5" line, then the filter, then the mainline.

    However, the guage DOES NOT fit off the bottle nut...it will work however off the filter.

    Would it matter that instead of doing "bottle/guage/line/filter/mainline" I do "bottle/line/filter/guage/mainline"

    I tried all possibilities, and this is the only set up that will work...I am using the guage that comes with the kit

    mw02, heres what im gonna say, but dont do it until you get someone with a definate answer:

    No, it doesnt matter. Heres my resonaning: Think about an a-pillar gauge for nitrous. The filter will still be back at the bottle, but you get the reading way down the main line. This leads me to believe that the filter does NOT affect nitrous line PSI at all.

    perhaps James has some insight on this also?

      Either way will work.

      Depends on what you're the most interested in monitoring.

      1. The pressure in the bottle. Maybe to make sure it's not gonna blow, if you run a heater with no thermostat (not recommended). Or to make sure you have enough pressure for a good run.

      2. The pressure that the nozzle is going to see. The more consistent the pressure, the more consistent the run. (and the a/f ratio). This would apply if you wanted to make sure the filter wasn't holding back too much pressure. Plus it will still tell you if the bottle pressure is getting to low. The only thing it won't tell you, is if the pressure is too high and the filter happens to be clogged, all at the same time.

      I'd vote for #2.

        After the filter would be fine. Just like John_D said, look at it like you monitoring "system pressure".

          My thoughts were the same as Ian's.

          Also, I wouldnt think that the pressure difference between the pressure @ the gauge (in the line) is going to be much different than that in the bottle

            Have you checked a couple different fittings?
            Or called TNT?

            One of my bottles have a guage mounted w/ adapter.

            Drop TNT a call or visit auto parts stores and check fittings

              Ditto.

              When I got my kit there was a REALLY short braided line that went from the bottle to the filter then the filter mounted directly to the pressure gauge.
