• Pics of your switches mounted inside? getting ideas

I just bought a kit off the for sale section a few days ago and it's gonna be here on monday. I was just wondering if anyone had any pictures of where they had all their switches mounted inside and where's the easy place to put them? Dynotune has a cool little multiswitch thing that mounts in a gauge pillar, but it's expensive. I just wanted to see some other people's setups to get some ideas about where to mount mine and what's the easier. Thanks guys!
oh yeah, when I searched under switches, almost all the hits were on like WOT switch questions, not like arming/purge switch type deals, so I did search

I don't have a pic handy, I'll try to take one later.

I mounted mine near the trunk release switch. Just above my left knee. I used rocker switches rather than toggle switches.

That panel comes off with 2 bolts. There's another plastic/fiber wall behind it, with a hole in it for the trunk relase wires to come through. I had to extend that hole a little bit too.

I have bottle heater (red), nitrous arming (blue), low speed fan (amber), and high speed fan (green) all in a row.

I was actually wondering if I could get two more of the switches that go above the radio. I dont know how it is with different year cars, but mine are the foglight switch and SGS/traction control switches. I could ditch the camaro pop-in and put some nitrous switches there. Anyone ever done that, or know where to get the switches from? It'd look very stock with those there.

i guess you could make a place for 2 switches in the center air vent, seems like a cool idea, ive seen pics of gauges in there,

I put an arming rocker switch underneath the stock voltmeter, and the trigger is on my shifter ball.

Cool setups guys. Gives me a few more ideas of how to do mine. Still not totally sure of what I'm gonna do, but this shows me what's been done and what hasn't. Once my kit actually comes in though, I should get a better idea when I see what switches it has in it. I like the "NX" style one slow, looks slick. The rest are all very nice also, maybe I can add a little bit of each together. Kit arrives tomorrow!

other than using oem fog light switches/vert top switches, and asr switches for arm operen and purge, i think the nx style switches are the cleanest i have seen for these cars.

So you can use those switches?? I was going to pull the little camaro emblem out since there are two more slots underneath there. Do you know where you can purchase more of those switches like the ASR ones? That's what I really would like to do, so it'd look completely stock.

dealer will have them, about $25 a pop though :(

The fog works for a on/off switch (spst lighted)

the asr works for a momentary SPST switch (purge)

and the vert switch will work for a dpdt reversing switch, which will control the NX/Zex/Speedshop.org openers

But unless you find a junkyard, to get them from, the switches are about $25 each, and the harnesses are another $14.00 or so, so it ends up being a little expensive.

Here's those pics.

The ones by my knee - the nitrous ones. Easy to reach, not very noticeable, but you can see them from the driving position when they are lit. I wouldn't put a big toggle here because your knee would hit it, but a rocker works great.

And the ones in my center console. If you want them concealed, this is the way to go, but they are a little awkward to reach, because your elbow has to go back between the seats...
