  • Nitrous Cam question

After my dyno last night I wondered how my car would react with my nitrous cam.. I have a comp.. 210in 220ex, 534in lift and a 547 exlift with a LS 113.. Would that Help my car make the horespower and torque above 5000 rpms while sprayin?? It makes it peak hp at 4800rpms and tq at 3200 but right at 5000 the power starts to drop by like 10hp each 100 rpm.. @ 5700 my hp was down to 190hp.. Maybe it was my pressure dropping??

It MAY have been the pressure dropping off, but that cam will move your powerband well above 5000, it should pull all the way to redline and past if you get it moved on the juice.

ive felt that cam it pulls allllll the way to redline and then some.

you sure your heads can take the .540 lift. If you havnt called ss yet call and make sure.

I called Tom already and he said the heads will be fine.. I changed out my valvesprings to LS6 ones that handle up to a .600 lift.. Thanks for the help..

Did you wide band dyno the car?

Either tuning or too much back pressure. Remove your catback next time. Watch the A/F.

My airfuel was 10.5-10.8 throughout the RpMs.. I am running a stock motor with stock heads, intake, cam, and internals.. The cam is at the machine shop with my ssms heads and ported intake..
