Well, I've started digging through my car and lining up where I actually want to mount the bottle, and have also begun pricing all the accessories for my kit. Now I have a few questions:
1) I bought my 5175 in the for sale section, but it doesnt have the instructions in the box. Does anyone know where I could get a .pdf of the wiring, or could someone explain which wires are attached where? The person has been emailing me instructions bit-by-bit, but I guess I'm getting anxious and want to start really figuring out where I'm gonna run everything through.
2) Gauges...are there any cheap ones?? It's seems most of the online sites I've been looking at have them for like $60-$130 per gauge; that'll end up costing more than the kit at those prices! Are there any cheap, decent looking gauges I can get for an a-pillar mount? I was figuring on getting A/F ratio, fuel pressure, and nitrous pressure. I currently have the nitrous gauge on the bottle (came with the kit), but figured I could detach that one and run a line to the a-pillar? Main question though is if there are any cheap places for decent gauges?
3) Last question, been debating on where to mount the bottle - either on the rear deck (easiest) or in spare tire area (stealthiest). In the tire well it'd be standing practically straight up and down, doesn't the bottle need to have like an optimum angle (with both mounts on a flat surface, I'm assuming the angle it makes is the proper angle) How did you guys secure it in the tire well, did you have to make a leg or something to tilt it at an angle?
Ok, that's all the questions I got for the time being. I'm very excited about the kit, but at the same time I want to make it as safe as possible (I know nitrous can be a risk, but safe in relative nitrous terms) so that I do everything right with the kit. This is my first real project that I've done to my car since I bought it from the last owner. Thanks for the info guys, I truly do appreciate all the help. And thanks for the previous switch pictures also, I purchased some switches similar to John D's that I'm going to mount behind my shifter
