Is the Nitrous Works wet kit that Summit sells any good? What would be a safe shot to run on our cars? 75 or so?

BTW - sounds funny but, is there a legal age to purchase nitrous? I'm just asking because PA is fairly strict with car-related modifications.

PA is strict? no they arent. they just have emissions in certain areas.

that i know of, you dont need to be a certain age, you just need a 'nitrous permit', available from your local speed shop, and the bottle cannot be hooked up while in your car.

I dont know about the nitrous works kit, but 100 is the general concensus on the 'safe' wet shot for our cars.

In NJ we get our permits from the state: Division of Health and Human Services. You fill out a form stating what your inteded use of nitrous will be (race car) and where you will get your nitrous from. Your permit is suppose to be kept in the car and a copy of it is given to the vendor in which you will purchase nitrous from.

Do insurance companys raise your rates if you have nitrous and u get a permit? Sounds stupid but i really dont know.

I have never had insurance campany issue's when obtaining a nitrous permit...... but then, my v6 is STOCK to my insurance company [img]tongue.gif[/img]

I like the nos kit 5175 from summit

Got me into the mid 13's on an 85 shot and high 12's on a 120 shot.

I dunno about PA laws with nitrous, check with local speed shops.

I run NitrousWorks not a bad kit but you will need a relay to hook up all the wiring and a -4 an 3 foot line to run from the fuel rail to fuel solonoide (not included in kit) unless you want to cut fuel lines jus a tip hope its helpfull
