  • New to nos

Im just getting involved in racing and I was talking to a guy in a camaro club in SD and he said that I could run NOS with my stock engine w/ just new piston rings, if i only run it at the races. Is this true?

you dont need new rings to spray your car

no, you dont need to change anything out. depending on how often/big/safe of a shot you use on your car, then things like rings start to go. rings WILL wear out with nitrous, its something you cant get around. but as long as you play smart, you dont have to worry about too much.

I have a junkyard engine with 90,000+ miles on it.

        I'm doing fine here.

If you do not get carried away and everything is running perfectly BEFORE the nitrous you should not have any problems.

If you are looking for suggestions on a kit try a search here or ask

ok then, i'll ask, if i wanna say, run a 65 shot, what work do i have to do above and beyond the nitrous dry kit? and how safe will it be to run this on my 80k kms engine, which is in perfect running condition, and is a daily driver...

we're talking maybe 3-5 shots per week in the summer, only
