Should I go nitrous?

I'm just seeing what you guys think. My car almost has 103k, auto tranny. I take really good care of it, oil change at every 2k, etc... I'm thinking about getting a zex dry kit. I have a full exhaust but I have no headers. I also still have the open differential with the 3.08s. But on the plus side I do have a walboro intake 255lph pump. Does it really matter if i'm not running headers or limited slip? I'm only planning on using the nitrous very few times. Only a couple passes on it once in a while. What do you guys think?

Yes you can juice w/o headers, it just will help. same thing with the LSD. but headers do help when you are changeing plugs.

Well, an open diff and lots of torque creating nitrous don't go well together.

The reason why is you will smoke the hell out of one tire :( and go no where..... fast :(

I like to see people upgrade to headers so plug changes are much easier. Can you run manifolds.... of course....but I like to see headers for plug change

I'm really considering it right now. I haven't really gotten the time to find a rear end equiped with 3.42s and all, or time to take the project on. I will probably do it eventually. I'm thinking about just doing a 75shot on the zex dry kit. Maybee making a few passes on it at the track. And maybee have a little fun with it on some street races but nothing major. I'm definatley not gonna make hardly that many passes on it. Now can someone point me to the wrong way of using nitrous and the right way, I always hear people talking that nitrous can only go wrong when you use it the wrong way? Also, is nitrous illegal for use on the street. Like, say your caught with the bottle in the back or anything. Do you have to have permits? or anything special? or does it even matter? And finally.... sorry for all the questions. I know it's hard to generalize about what i'd run in the 1/4 but for running a 75shot, what do you think i'd be good for. Low 14s at least? or maybee high 13s? if i'm lucky? or is that pushing it.

most places its not legal to have nitrous in your car but F*ck it hide it and have fun...just recently they pasted a law here that ur not even allowed to drive around with the system in your car but thats in Michigan.........but get nitrous ull love it

your gonna love this im out to eat today and there are 3 cops at the place so i ask them if nitrous is illegal, at first they thought i meant laughin gas, so i told them the nitrous that people race with they were like well thats illegal being the racing stuff lol go figure...but i was like no not the race the actual nitrous itself their like well you can buy so its probally legal....however we dont kno for sure........the police had no idea if it was legal or not so im gonna ask a cop that my buddy does ride alongs with

yea friday i will kno for sure, my buddy just got pulled over today and the cop was like oh you got nitrous i see, and he said i dont got the bottle hooked up and the cop didnt give him any crap about it, and when i got stoped the cop didnt say nothin bout the nitrous so, so far so good it looks
