Not caring about nitrous laws.......

Well, in jersey, if you are caught with a nitrous system in your car and bottle is open, the nitrous system can be yanked out by the police right on the scene!!!

yea i found out, the way the police said it is its basically just a reason to pull you over like having something hanging from the rearview mirror, aslong as your cool and not an a-hole the cop will usually let you slide, but they use it as an excuse to write u up for something else...it is illegal to have in your car becuase it is meant for offroad use only, so the systems fine but if u dont want the ticket dont have the bottle in the car, but basically the ticket depends on the cop becuase most dont kno the laws on it but as long as u play it cool they'll usually let ya be

alright, thats what i figured, i'll just leave my bottle between the seats and tell them it is closed and all then. Thanks for checking on it for me though!

I'd want to know your SPECIFIC laws, cause imagine if you JUST instaalled a kit, and the officer pulled you over and confiscated the ENTIRE kit and you NEVER get it back all because you had the bottle on!!!

ur not supposed to have the bottle in the car at all on the road, in michigan it is offroad only...not allowed at all whether open or not but cops seem to be pretty leanaint if you play it cool and the bottle aint hooked up, they can do more then take your system if they wanted to they could pull your car if your caught using it, its all the cops decision im just sayin cops use it as an excuse to pull you over if they see it and most of the time will not enforce any punishment for having it

there was no real detailed in depth statings on what happens it was mainly summed up as that when i was told so thats i how i relayed exactly as i was told

i mean i still ride with my bottle, however i guess if he wants more in depth than that hes gonna have to try hard to find it becuase i asked several officers then finally got that as the answer
