Not a bad idea...I don't think I'd want it on my car though.

Couldn't you just buy a $8 Maglite, take the back the head off(mirror, lens, and casing) put an LED(arent they like a $0.50 for a pack of like 10), your choice of color, install a inline fuse link($1) and some wiring ($2). Put some silicone sealant($2) on the back over the wires where they connect to the LED, to protect them. Put a bracket and some screws on it for $1.

Hook the wires into the purge switch, to get voltage to turn on when you purge(notice their kit is just bare wires)

Then you have the same thing with the option of changing the color you wanted for $14.50?

But then again I am a cheap bastard and pull crap out of my ***...

I should sell them on ebay!

You could just buy some 12V LEDS from radioshack, and wire them in...
Well, I wouldn't recommend James attempting this... :D

I have a ZEX kit kit with a red purge light. I mounted it coming out of my windshield cowl, looks like a 2 foot flame. I use most of my bottle just purging!!!
