  • can i keep my chip? purge valve necessary?

Alright guys...i'm looking into buying the NX Incognito system for a little extra boost. I have a few questions...
first of all, I currently have a Jet Stage II chip in my car...now will i be able to keep that in or does it have to go with the use of this small system?

and secondly, is a purge valve absolutely necessary? I mean i know it is for bigger kits, but i am unsure if it is needed on a small kit like this even. I think it would be cool and good to have...but it is necessary?

why would you want/need a purge on an incogneato setup? the main idea behind that system is that no one knows you have it (easy to hide small bottle) a purge will just let the person you are racing know ... hey .. thats a nitrous car

        Ditch the chip

Incognito system.... is it like a sneeky pete system?

        If yes, WHY?

This is a typical system used to gain .1 or .2 in the 1/4

        Is a purge needed, nope

ok...i didnt think i'd need a purge with that small of a setup...i didnt think it was completely necessary, just wasnt sure if i SHOULD get it or not...as for the chip...why would i need to ditch the chip with a small setup like the incognito (and yes it is like the sneaky pete).

The Jet StageII chip advances timing which is a no no with nitrous.

Thats why you should't run it!

the advanced timing from the chip combined with nitrous would cause detonation. detonation is bad and you can screw pistons.

Chip = advanced timing = BOOM!

It is a bad thing to do with ANY amount of nitrous

same thing, the "gains" from the HPP are due to added timing

That advances timing also, sorry :(
