  • Removing the bottle

Well we finally got the nitrous installed it works great, with the window switch she doesn't peel out at all it kicks in at 3k rpms and kicks off at 5500 rpms so we didn't even need to skip first gear. I may lower it to 2500 rpms to start see what that does. My only question is about leaving the bottle in the car or not...

The bottle is in the back window but is covered by a wood box she created. Does everyone remove their bottle from the car when its not in use and put it back in when they think they may need it? I know the bottle says not to leave it anywhere 120 degrees F or above, can a car get hotter then 120?

I wouldn't think it was that big of a deal but I don't see anything good coming out of screwing/unscrewing the bottle from the braided hose everytime you have to remove it/put it in.

I only take mine out when i go to a place with a lot of cops (the beach to cruise the strip). Otherwise I leave mine in. Depends on your state laws though, some states you cannot have it hooked up on the streets

In the summer it can get DAMN hot in that car!

      Bottle PSI can SKYROCKET!

You may need to take it out if it is gonna get REALLY hot out.

      Also, extreme low temps too.

Get a bottle psi guage and watch it

Glad to see the Nitro Control working well pumm3l.
Feel free to write if you need anything!

We've left the bottle in our black C5 for months in even the hottest temps without incident.

The rule of thumb with spraying.. Dont spray below 3000rpms.. The lowest I ever sprayed is 2800rpms on the dyno..
