• Fuel rail fitting size

On a 3.4 what size is the test port on the fuel rail? I need to know the size for the threads so I can get the fuel to my Solenoid. I found a fitting that sorta works (1/4 X 1/8 brake fitting). The 1/4 side is female but when I match it with a 1/4 coupling, the threads and size are different ??? The part is from Oreily it's an Edelman 124420. Thanks.

You were right! I tested the main line from the bottle (which I know to be -4 AN) and it fit perfectly. What does that convert to in normal compression fitting size (I think it's 1/4"). Not 1/4" NPT, just 1/4...? I bought a fitting and it fit (the one stated above) but the collar was a bit short, so I'll have to buy a different one (and I plan on running brakeline for the fuel line, so it needs to be a double female). Thanks!

you have to use the -AN fittings, they are a tapered thread. I would imagine a standard fitting would work, but it might leak....

The threads aren't where the sealing occurs, NA fittings work on comprssion .
