• Nitrous cam

I found a couple cams for my car, but im not sure which will work better for nitrous. Im squeezing 100 wet right now. Comp cam 16000.5 has 226* intake and 236* exhaust @ .050 duration. valve lift w/1.5 rockers is .463 intake and .47 exhaust. Lobe separation angle is 112*.
The Lunati-30000 is 228* intake and exhaust duration @ .050 and .465 intake and exhaust with 1.5 rockers. Lobe separation angle is 110*. Intake centerline is 106*. I have stock internals but was going to upgrade to the comp cams (34v6valvetrain) valvetrain kit. I found all this at fullthrottle performance. Any opinions on these cams. Would they be nitrous friendly? Any other cams that would work better for my car? Thanks in advance for any input.

Of the 2 the
Comp cam 16000.5 has 226* intake and 236* exhaust @ .050 duration. valve lift w/1.5 rockers is .463 intake and .47 exhaust. Lobe separation angle is 112*

would be a better choice

Split duration favoring exhaust with a larger LSA angle both are good with nitrous.

I agree with Nachius here. If you can have it ground on a 113LSA would be even better:)

im not a fan personally of any off the shelf cam, im more of a get your heads flowed... then have a cam made for the flow#'s and the racing type, and stall of the trans...

anyway, did i read that right that you are spraying a 100 wet shot??? are you still running the stock pistons??

Use something close to a 114 LSA, have more exhaust duration than intake duration.
I can't help much with a 3.4 though.. :(

85000 miles, 3.73 gears, 100 wet shot. Before the gears i would usually go through about a bottle a week (sometimes 2), after the gears, however, i seldom use nitrous anymore cuz it pulls so sick. i know i've gone through over 50 bottles in about a year. Is the valvetrain package worth getting too. it has 1.6 roller rockers and other stuff too. website is http://www.ftpp.net/V6Main.htm
Oh yeah it is the stock pistons right now.

i like hearing things such as that .. povides hope for me.. cause i know when i start spraying i'll be wantin to up the jet a lot (and i really dont wanna have to scrape up the cash to finish my new motor)

however with a good cam a 1.6 ratio rocker arm wont be necessary, however since they are roller tip rockers they would be better than the stock stamped steel rockers, and the "race" rockers josh sells are both roller tip and fulcrum which is just plain sexy
