Ive researched getting a cam and well, it cost too much. this will be on a dry shot of the giggle gas with some n/a kick also. so im going to get rocker arms so i want to know which are the best ratio 1.6, 1.7, 1.8, 1.9? also is there a major proformacnce difference between full roller rockers http://www.intense-racing.com/Mercha...egory_Code=HCV and the regular http://www.intense-racing.com/Mercha...ory_Code=HCV??

    I don't know.

I run SLP 1.8 roller rockers w/ a stock cam.

People tell me I am VERY limited on choice of cams due to 1.8 roller rockers, sigh :(

    Maybe advanced tech section?

I don't know real proof on the 3.8, but going to a full roller rocker should net you more horsepower than a non. Be it 5-10 HP if the price is worth it to you. If all you are doing is rockers and not going internal engine I believe 1.9 full roller rocker would give you the best gains.

that would still keep you under .5 lift and open up the intake/exhaust a lot more than stock.

your not limited, a custom grind from comp doesnt cost any more than a listed cam...just get a cam ground w/less lobe lift....

if you were to have a cam ground for you they could take the 1.8 ratio into account and just give the cam less lift with the same ammount of duration as you would like for the bottle

Just put the stock rockers back on when you go to do a cam.

IMO - The rockers are way overpriced for the gains. Just save up more money and get a cam, it is WELL worth it. Rockers should only be changed out when a cam is NOT an option for some reason.

why do you say that? does the 3.8 have roller rockers stock? cause a roller rocker is leaps and bounds better than a stamped steel rocker arm

The 3.8 has roller rockers, but doesn't have a roller tip. The stock 3.8 rockers are AWESOME.
                        You can see them here.

Well, I gained almost 2 mph with my SLP roller rockers
Also reduced et bu just over 0.1 so... to me it was worth it... no tuning needed :D

                          FF, get a soundclip :D

Yeah it is worth it, if you don't plan on camming your car. Compared to a cam, its not as cost effective though.
