Okay so it is roller just no roller tip? I guess that settles my new rockers or not question...roller without roller tip to roller with roller tip at the same ratio (1.6 is what they come with stock right? that's all I would do cause of cam anyway) wouldn't give me any real gains.

Yep, 1.6 is stock. I was looking at the roller rockers at intense, and they say if you're going to 1.9, to also upgrade the springs to medium duty. Would this be totally neccessary? Or do you think we could sqeak by with the stockers?
i would get the springs, the last thing you want is valve float.

yeah, you're right. I guess my problem was that I've never done valve springs before. It doesn't look hard at all, it's just I've never done them before. What about the pushrods though. Do you think it would be a good idea to upgrade them when you get heavier springs (intense say you don't need to, but I don't mind upgrading, if beneficial)?
