i'm thinking about getting a nitrous system, but i'd like to have a low-key, subtle system. i don't want the huge bottle sitting in the back of the car, i'd rather have a couple barely noticeable ones. i saw a setup on an LS1 that had two small bottles just below the airbox, with the lines running into the sides of the box. it looked pretty cool, and wasn't over-the-top. what kits would you guys recommend?

what size shot do you want to spray? If its a 75+ your gonna want a bigger bottle.
You could buy a couple 2.5lbs bottles or 5 lbs bottle off of ebay and put them a couple places.
You could get the sneaky pete but you would need a bigger bottle

i was thinking like an 85-100 shot. i'd eventually go bigger once i'd built up the engine more. sorry to reference "that movie" (F&F), but something like the setup in Vin Diesel's RX-7 would be pretty cool. i'd like that kind of subtelty, something you wouldn't notice right away unless it was pointed out.\'98 Camaro - SOLD
Best E/T: 15.489 @ 86.48 MPH
60\': 2.131
members.cardomain.com/skorpion317
1998 Saturn SL2
Official NJ Disturbance bracket racer

yeah, i want the same thing bro. What i'm gonna do is get a 10 lb bottle and put it where the spare was, then run lines and everything up to the outlet of the airbox. For solenoids, my method will be to remove the battery and mount them right there, like as close down as I can get. That way, nobody who doesn't know what's going on will be able to see my kit or even know it's there. I think I'll run purge through those vents on the side, or maybe just out my taillights because that would be easy and cool, and if I pulled up to a mustang GT on the street he might not even notice the fog!

I have a 10 pound bottle in the spare compartment. I always thought purging out of the wheel wells was pretty cool.2000 Y87 Red Camaro
Whisper Lid, SLP Cold Air Induction, 3\" Flowmaster Exhaust, Pacesetter Headers & Y-Pipe, 3\" Catco High Flow Cat, Zex 82021 Wet Kit(75 Shot), Purge, Bottle Warmer, blah, blah, blah

100/125 Shot, and Walbro 255 on it\'s way...

well this is some what how my system is setup. These where pics when I was working on it so its not completly done but u get the idea. I mounted the solenoides under the outlet tube of the airbox so they are pretty well concealed. I routed all the wires and hoses so you cant see them with out searching to much. Heres a few pics to get the idea sort of. Keep in mind this isnt the finsihed result.

Hiding it wasnt my main concern, I mostly wanted a clean looking install. Thats pretty much what I was shooting for. If you look into the car you see a big bottle chillin in the backseat. 10 lb bottle in the rear spare tire area.
Run the lines in the car under the carpet.
Run a dry kit
Keep the solenoids mounted in the fender.
Have the nozzle go in between the radiator and a/c condensor thingee.
Stealthy system except for FPSS.
Wet kit would have the fuel rail tapped and be obvious.
If solenoids are exposed... wrap them in black electrical tape.
If this a stealth kit, no purge.Race car - gone but not forgotten - 1997 firebird V6
