• Guess who's back?!?!

    Picked up something last night...

    LT1 TNT kit

Just need to get a LS1 nozzle ring and I'm good to go.

The kit might not be going on for a while though. I still need to do something about my transmission and figure out what the heck is pulling timing from me (a recent problem). Also going to need a good fuel pump, although I might put a small fuel cell in place of the battery and run 110 octane out of that for the spray. 125+ mph traps, here I come! :D

    NICE!!!!!

TNT kits are KILLER nitrous kits :D

Take some time and address the timing and tranny issue first.

    Then fuel system

    Then, spray :D

These issues are definately getting worked out FIRST. For the tranny, it'll either be a 200-4R conversion, or just a decent built 4L60E. The timing issue will hopefully be taken care of next week or the week after, when I have some spare time to work on it.

I'll also probably have to knock the gear down to a 3.42 (currently 3.73). With a 26" tire, I was trapping at 6500 rpm (on motor). I switched to a 27" tire and I'm now trapping at about 6000, but with the juice I'll definately be running out of gear.

Anyway, can't wait to get back on the bottle!!

          I'd keep the 4L60E tranny.

I had a 2004R tranny in the chevelle... it was nice... but it is amazing what one can do with the various programming etc for electronic trannies now a days

Of course you may as well break it right before you pay to have it fixed or fix it yourself :D

Now think long and hard about how most of us like to modify our cars alot... and we often break things...
