you dont want to have it inject right off the start...you can give yourself a nitrous backfire...nitrous backfire = bye bye engine ...even slightly after the start isnt good for a 75 - 100 shot because you'll get some wheel spin...i find the best time to inject it on my car is the top of first gear...its a nice quick time to inject it with less risk of wheel spin...also...you dont have to let off the nitrous on an auto ...just flip the switch and enjoy the ride ..haha...you'll feel a little jolt but its nothing like out of the fast and the furious or something lol ...if you're really going to be using nitrous as your big source of power you might want to look into some LCAs and a pan hard rod to help with wheel spin/hop...hope that helps
nitrous backfire = bye bye air intake, MAF screen, and some other small stuff, thats about it.
hit it above 3K
our stock trannies are notorious for goin bad w/ nitrous w/o a shift kit in them. cause its so long between shifts, it messed the trans up. look into a shift kit.

with street tires at the track, I do just what 1DangerousV6 and 97rs do.
With my nitto DR's, I spray right off the line.
Breaking your tires loose with nitrous= instant redline. That is how you blow motors.
