I'm still interested in adding a nitrous system to my bird but I'd also like that kit to be usable on another car in case I decide to do a trade in. Could universal system made for a V6 work on other engine types? I understand that if I go up in cylinders I'd need additional hoses and such but what if I went to an I4 or I5 (Colorado I5)?

most kits will work on most cars, you shouldnt need additional "hoses" or anything, for the most part a 50 shot is a 50 shot , a 75 shot is a 75 shot.. yadda yadda.. there are many people that run "Z-28" kits on 6 cylinder cars, or on compleetly different applications-Aaron, AKA ATL2001
93 3.4L
www.ilfba.com

yea pretty much all nitrous kits are universal as long as it goes from a EFI car to a EFI car...etc.

Yup, I'd probably stick with a dry kit... because if switching between vehicle's is a strong possibility it is an easier set up to swap over
Certain manufacturer's might have slightly difference variations, always check with the nitrous brand tech lineRace car - gone but not forgotten - 1997 firebird V6
