    ok here is what is going on. i have a v6 3800 camaro. i put a 75 shot of nitrous in her. the nitrous is working great in 1st and 2nd gear. but it seems like once i hit 3rd gear the nitrous will shoot but it doesn't seem like i'm going as fast as i should, because whom ever i am racing will start to pull on me. what is going on. some one please tell me what is going on. and how to fix this. thanks

    Any possibility that you are not getting enough fuel?

      Bottle PSI?
      How much nitrous was in the bottle?
      Running lean?

        not running lean, and my psi was at like 900, and i just filled my bottle. maybe used it 3 times.

          yea get that PSI higher and it will be better, not sure about in 3rd or not, but the initial hit will be a good one

            Was.. like 900?
            Is that pre run or post run?
            What is the weight of the bottle?

                and the psi before the run?
                And the weight of the bottle?
                maybe time to check those plugs?
                Maybe dyno tune time?

                  Do you run a fuel pressure safety switch? It should feel somewhat like it's not working as well in 3rd as 1st and 2nd, because down low you REALLY feel the torque, whereas the HP up top isn't as great of a thrill. Throw it on a dyno to see what she's doing.

                    Nitrous pulls best in 1st and second gear.. when I spray my 125 shot in second gear it is insane, in third gear it still pulls but doesnt seem to be as hard.. Also if you havent changed your fuel filter I would do that too!!

                      Well, as you go into higher gears there is always less pull.

                      If it seems like it has lost something top end then hit the dyno.

                      Fuel filter, plugs, and various tune up should be first though

                        Yeah if its and auto 3rd gear = crap. :(

                        1st and 2nd are my main power gears for the spray after that [img]graemlins/barf.gif[/img] .
