    are you positive we have a piezo-style knock sensor? that gauge says for supercharged 3800 apps, so they may be talkin L67's

      well they have it listed under the V6 camaro, so...... both motors has 2 knock sensors

        For 170 dollars, when people running nitrous should really be tuned anyways. Hptuner and Autotap enhanced both monitor knock as well. For someone wanting to monitor everything via gauges thats a decent item to have, but anyone serious should go with some software that can log it!

          I dunno, seems like an L67 set up.

          I'm still running stock timing.... when I step it up a notch I may explore MAFTplus.

            this will stop me from having to have lapt top in my PC 24/7 and really when you spray are you going to have time to look at your lap top? with this you can put it right there and if for some reason you gets lot of knok you can shut it down, this is good for FI peeps too

                why not just put a volt meter in line with your knock sensor. It would provide the same data and it would be much less than 170 bucks.

                  becuase 99.9 % of the members would slap me for having $21,000 into my car and cheap out on getto set up like that, and i would kill my self too.

                    Knock detection is no where near as simple as a voltage coming off the knock sensor. The sensor is basically just a piezoelectric trasducer ("microphone") and the electronics monotoring it are setup to look for a certain frequency coming from the engine.
