Have any of you guys that run 125 shots and stock timing ever run autotap or any program that would register knock?

2 maybe 3 years ago when I had a powerdyne I was looking around for people who had experence with the kit, and I found the website of one of the original beta test cars. He had the ignition retard unit, and played around with it on a dyno, and found that he made 10-20 more hp with less timing. The reason is that our computer pulls timing so agressively when it senses knock. I know nitrous cars are not as likely to start to knock as a non intercooled supercharged car, becuase you are not adding heat or compression, but it might be worth checking into.

Keep the stock timing, run race gas.
This works for me, I have not autotapped the bird for knock retard though.

        I will one day.

Do not advance it with HPP then retard it with maft plus

My engine blowed up with a 125 shot, but it was a dry shot. I had the timing retarded 4* with MAFT+.

Wet probably makes all the difference.
