yeah...i would be awesome...but maybe you shouldnt dive right into a direct port system just yet...i mean you may not even like nitrous...who knows...whether you go wet or dry you should just start off with a basic kit...as for damage...i know malice chipped a piston...but he was running a 125 shot...he pulled the motor and redid all the internals...James dropped a rod on a 120 dry shot...but only because his car wasnt tuned for the 24# injectors...which is why i just spent freakin $500 today on HP Tuners to tune for them in my car...i've burnt out plugs plenty of times...burned the tips clean off...but that was before i upgraded the pump...ever since that it runs smoooooooth [img]smile.gif[/img]

ok ok nm i have decided on dry
im going to start small and move my way up as money and interest permits. I am going to stay dry and research causes and odds of the burnt cylinder rings but im going dry... I will either go with a TNT kit or a NOS kit the 5175 that everyone has. thanks guys!

good move...then if you decide you want to convert to wet later on its no big deal...a couple lines, a fogger nozzle, and a fuel solenoid [img]smile.gif[/img]

did you get an inline pump or did you do the whole intake one? would you recommend the inline or intank?

i went with an inline pump...the intank ones are really good too from what i hear...but a little more expensive because of the labor i guess...mine works fine...except inline pumps are REALLY noisy...so i only put the fuse in for it when im at the track [img]smile.gif[/img]

is there any write ups about how to install a new fuel pump? i looked around but couldnt find anything...how difficult is it to install a walboro 255 (i think thats what its called)? I am leaning towards a TNT kit just because i have heard that NOS noids arent as good and because TNT has black bottles [img]smile.gif[/img] thanks all for your help i really appreciate it!!!

Not sure what it comes with, looks like bottle brackets solenoid blow down tube? wires and some switches... i need an official list of what comes in the package though... ill email TNT...

Also, i have a few opportunities to get some wet kits from LS1 owners, If i took the LS1 kits and just took off the wet hoses and solenoid, would I basically have a dry nitrous kit? Then later on i could use the wet stuff to convert to the wet kit if i wanted? thanks

^^^yeah if you can get a wet kit cheap that would be cool...all you would need is a nitrous solenoid and a fan nozzle (instead of the fogger nozzles used with wet kits) [img]smile.gif[/img]

shortly after posting this thread, this guy gave up and sold the kit to a buddy for cheap, then his friend didnt do anything with it and by the time i stumbled upon this thread, he wanted to sell it. after talking to some people, i got the original sellers SN on AIm and talked to him, then he gave me his buddys phone number and so i talked to him and offered him 525 shipped for everything, he agreed, so now all i gotta do is send him the money order!!!!!!!!!!! iT AWESOME!!!!

now i got everything needd for the install, i got a bottle heater, a wot switch, and the kick *** window switch, and all the wiring and hose that i need for it!!! i was going to have to pay 600 on thunderracing for half of that stuff before tax and shipping! wow.. im pumped! check it out guys, hopefully you all agree with me that i got a pretty nice deal :-D its a dual nozzle kit as well, splits after the noid in a t fitting and then pluged into two spots on the lid... yay!
