ok so if nitrous is non-flammable, then how is it used during combustion to help burn the fuel?? i mean, i thought that the compound seperates at a temperature around 550 or somthing and then oxygen is rendered useable by the fire. but unless this MSDS sheet isnt covering that scenario, its only other downside is that its poisinous to breath, but so is pure oxygen and helium and co2 so why isnt it illegal to have a paintball gun hooked up to co2 or all that ****?!?

i am thinking about running a fpss on my setup, even though its dry, wouldnt it be a good idea, just because its one less thing that can cause a SERRRRRRIOUS issue? i mean, couldnt hurt right? except my wallet

maybe i should upgrade my fuel pump and injectors... is all of that really worth the time and work if im only going 75 shot? at least for now... should i hold off until i choose to go more?

oh and how far can you go with the stock pump and injectors before you get that risk of the injectors locking up?

i run a fpss on my setup and mines dry too...the stock pump is good for a 75 shot...anything over that i would upgrade...the injectors are more than capable of running a 75 shot..they wont lock up until over a 125...also...you cannot put different injectors in your car without tuning the PCM for them with HP Tuners, MAFT, or something like that...24# injectors will be the next step on my car :D

does that look like an alright mechanical guage? i know im going to have to run another hose to it which kinda sucks, but its either another hose or another two wires right? anyways.... i will only get another gauge if the bottle isnt inbetween the back seats... but i think that i would rather hide the bottle? i dont know yet... freak... if its hidden, less obvious to coppers and stuf
if its in the center more obvious, but to everyone!... i mean, if im hooked up and driving around, and a cop stops me for whatever reason, and SEEs the bottle, he would be more inclined to check if its hooked up, if its hidden then why would he check for nitrous? i wouldnt see him checking unless i was stopped for speeding or racing.... even then! but being in the middle is like a dead give a way.... what do you two think?

oh yeah, not sure if any of you ever check the ls1tech site but there was this guy who did an AMAZING job at a custom nitrous install... he doesnt exactly have function in mind (ls1 running a 55 shot?) and his bottle was turned sideways, but anyways it was awesome...i also love the polished billet aluminum bottle brackets he used, very smart design, i see them forsale for like 170 on dynotunes site... a little much maybe ebay has em cheaper. they disconnect from the base and leave you with a bottle with a handle! its cool! and he polished his bottle. anyways, everything was done with the "dont hurt the car" policy so that everything is reversable with no damage. smart guy... check out the page its great.. if i were to do the between the back seat thing. this is how i would do it

pretty nice...thats right where mine is...and a 55 shot could be good for a full second ;) ...that would be 12s on an LS1 ...i like the ash tray panel...i dont smoke and i dont allow smoking in my car...so that kicks @ss...anyways...about the gauge...i dunno...i guess it would work...im just a little sceptical(sp?) about brands i've never heard of and im trying to remember if i've heard of dynamic racing products but i dont think so...i've only ever used autometer gauges...plus you can back-light those for night time coolness

hmm... are there any gauges that are black faced that glow red? thats what i need REALLY bad... preferably with a chrome or silver ring lol.. i havent decided where to mount mine... i would REALLY like for it to be in the center console, but
1. that might entice the ricer high schoolers here to jack it... and two, coppers would see it...

damn i want to show it off though... maybe ill cover it with a blakey when im out of the car haha..tinted windows for sure..

ALWAYS run a FPSS.

I ran stock injectors, fuel pump and added a kenne bell boost a pump and sprayed a 120 dry shot no problems.

Put 291 rwhp and 362 rwtq down

100 shot wet, granatelli 255 lph pump, stock injectors got me 315 rwhp and 380 rwtq

Dunno the power level now....

Maybe 350 rwhp and 450 rwtq?
