howdy-
i did an extensive search and didnt quite find what i am looking for...and that is, where in the air box on a 1999 do you put the nozzle for a dry kit? (i moved it because i switched from wet...) in the very front, or on one of the pieces perpendicular to the tube that leads to the throttle body?or on the sides?? im gonna drill it tomorrow ,so any reply would be appreciated...thanks!

i stuck mine into the back of the air box right next to the tube that leads down to the intake...but kinda angled to make sure it would spray in the right direction...seemed to work great for me...you could also put it right in the hose that goes to the intake about 2 - 3 inches before the screen...its closer to the intake...but will make sure you get a nice straight-on spray

by the way...im very curious because i was actually thinking of switching from dry to wet...what made you switch from wet to dry??

ill probably put it kinda angled...thanks alot...
i switched from wet to dry because i didnt want to drill and tap the TB...call me a weiner, but i didn't want little metal shards making it into the combustion chamber or blocking a valve or anything else...well see, maybe ill go back to wet later...who knows...

yeah i put it like that because some say the farther away from the MAF the better with dry...i can either stick it there now or where my TB was already drilled and tapped for a DRY kit lol...that'll be a good choice though...as far as how hard the shot hit or felt i didnt really notice any difference between the two locations

If I had a v6 f body with the lid style air box and I was running a dry kit I would have a T fitting and drill and tapp either side of the air box.

I had mine in the lid. Since the outlet was off to the driver's side, I put a single nozzle on the passenger side, pointing toward the outlet of the lid.
