well...you're not supposed to inject nitrous until 2500 rpms and only at WOT...id start at 3000...depends where you stall to you dont want to inject right when you let your put off the brake or you'll just spin forever (unless you have traction from god) ..id set it at 3000 - 3500 and see how that works out and adjust from there

I know not too low(don't want fuel to puddle and backfire) just looking for some basic suggestions...

I will have a WOT switch to, I was thinking of having a normal toggle switch, and after I launch a little just flip the toggle switch(kinda like fast and furious with a pushbutton) but just leave the switch in on, so I run down the track.

I am starting to run into traction problems with my current wheels may have to run the ZR1s to see if they help.

Well, I would go with the toggle switch but not to activate the nitrous, but to actually arm the nitrous. I mean if for some reason your getting on it on the freeway, (but we are all safe drivers here, so who does that anyways ) and you go WOT and the nitrous kicks in, it might not be so pretty. Especially if you arent expecting it. Well, thats just my .02.

I have my window switch set from 3400 - 6200 RPMs. With the manual, you need a window switch. If you miss a shift without a window switch, you can kiss your motor goodbye. The motor will spin up to your fuel cut off and you will get VERY lean. At 6000 rpms, that kind of lean will blow your motor. Have a switch to arm the system then let the WOT switch, window switch, and fuel preasure safety switch keep everything safe. Good luck.

My plans were...

I am running a switch box that will run other stuff too.

My plans were...

Arming switch--FPSS--WOT---WINDOW--TOGGLE SWITCH--SOLENOIDS

The 2nd toggle switch is the same as people running a pushbutton but instead of me having to hold the pushbutton the entire run I will just flip it on an go.

Reason for this, I launch 3,000-3500 RPMs, as soon As I put the pedal to to the floor, the juice will hit and I will light up the tires and not launch, idea was, stick the launch maybe hit it then, or wait till I am in 2nd.

This is for now, I am still running an open diff Won't be in the future but as of now I will be and might be till after Xmas.

Start at 3,500 to get used to it.
Eventually work down to 3,000 rpm's but NO lower

^^yeah..i stall at like 2000 rpms..so if i had it at 2500 it'd just be hitting RIGHT off the line...i dont have a window switch i just use the toggle...but i dont hit it until the top of first gear...probably between 3500 - 4000 rpms

Yes, don't spray until 2nd gear. 1st is just to push you off the line. Spraying in 1st will just keep you in that gear longer than you need to be and slow you down a bit. I run 1st up to 4300-4500 and shift. That shifts brings the rpm down to 2800-3000 and then I spray. Have fun!
But I don't think I need to give you advice on shifting. :D

Start at 3200 or 3400, and after a handful of runs, work down to 3000 like James said, no lower.

Also, alot of the 5 and 6 speed guys will set the upper limit about 200-300 rpm before their rev limiter, or where they want to shift...This way when you feel the nitrous cutout (and you will on a 100 shot), you know it's time to shift and don't have to stare at the tach so much!

i'd suggest 3300-3500 knowing how crappy our intake is for flowing fuel.

Matt has a good point also, let it cut out 200-300 rpm's before shift point and YES you will DEFINATELY feel a 100 shot cut out.

what about setting the window on an automatic? I have heard that its bad to spray through shifts? whats the deal with this? I got a transgo shift kit installed a while back, i though that it was to help the tranny with some stress? is it supposed to be like this?
1st -just let it run
2nd -once it hits 3400ish, arm the system and let the switches do their thing.

no heres my question, do you want it to shut off before it shifts into third? or do you let it go as far as it goes until it shuts off from the window switch or the wot switch going off... OH and also, if you are spraying while going wot, and then you just let off the gas, is that going to make you go lean for a split second? or is it better to turn off the switch before you shutdown.....

mines auto...i hit the juice the top of first gear (in my car i've just found the longer i wait..the slower i run) ...i keep the pedal to the floor the whole way...which activates the WOT switch...my juice doesnt shut off until i cross that line and let off
