I will be next year. I don't know how much a progressive controller costs but since I already have all of the parts, I figured I would use them instead of sell them like everything else.
^^DAMN...they're like $400 - $500! ...yeah...you could rig a dual stage for MUCH less..just get another set of solenoids with another arming switch and run two lines from the bottle...plug each nozzle into the intake...and there ya go...maybe $100 instead of $500

So it is all still just speculation? If I do nitrous, I am thinking about spraying off the line with a 50 shot with a window setting of 3000-6000 and after the 2nd gear shift a 50-75 shot set for 3500-6000. Both would be dry shots, I would have 50 for the launch and during shifts and 100-125 through the length of 2nd and 3rd gears.
What I am not sure about is the wiring for the whole deal, how to arm the second stage right after second gear, etc. I was kinda looking for pics of a setup to get an idea.

If you were only setup to run a 75 shot why would you bother putting together a dual stage kit? I was under the impression that they were for MONSTROUS shots that would shred tires up until 3rd gear, so that's why they have two stages... for traction. You have the right idea though I guess.

try spraying a 75 shot off the line and see if you get traction.. its not too likely
also people will run a 2 stage setup for heads up racing purposes, if the person you are racing is catching up, you is beating you then you have that extra lil bump you can use if you need it, but dont have to if you dont need it
I've two staged my LS1. 50hp wet instantly out of the hole on a WOT switch, and then a 175 dry shot on a button so I can let off between shifts. Works just fine! 2 seperate bottles, seperate solenoids, seperate everything.
James - what would you suggestion be for a 2-stage setup?
Remember, Im not going to have the suspension/ tires you have for great traction off the line.
Would what I mentioned above make sense?

Works just fine. I haven't even had as much as a hiccup with it. Remember, if the dry kits bottle pressure fades out, the wet is still properly jetted for the 50 shot.

Do you have any other suspension mods?
What tire will you run, brand and size please.
Before tracks open in the spring I will have Spohn LCA's and Torque Arm, relocation brackets standard height Eibach springs and Bilstein HD's.
I am going to attempt this on 245/50/16 Khumho Ecsta ASX's, until I get a separate set of dedicated rims/ rubber. This is why I was thinking of only a 50 shot until after 2nd gear shift.
[edit] I forgot about that cardomain page. I need to work on that... its pretty crappy, not to mention out-of-date.
