i didnt mean that in anyway to bash shane. hes got a really nice supra, more power to him. but i just wish he would have kept going with the bird.
i just wanna see someone put all there effort in and see where it goes. like how viper is trying to. you never really see anyone try to push v6 f-body to it full potential. look at grand prix's! they got guys running like 10's or 11's on just boost.

i was running both boost and a dry nitrous system which BOTH utilize the fuel injectors to supply the additional fuel needed..so i was running so slowly because i was maxing them out and running lean..a wet kit could have taken care of this..however..like James pointed out to me..if i got a back fire from a wet kit (which are much more destructive than on dry kits) i could severely damage the blower..thats why some time in the spring/summer i will have the direct port system put in..i'll be running 6 psi ..and a 100 - 125 direct port shot..which will give me the power of a wet kit..without the threat of dangerous back fires..the perfect combo for my setup..for now..just to get back in action..im just increasing the injectors :D

i dunno man..i think you could handle more power..Shirl runs a 100 wet shot in a stock engine PLUS 6 lbs of boost..and im about to run a 125 dry shot with 6 lbs..i think your car could handle more..i dont know about more nitrous though..if y ou back fire on a 150 shot you're gonna be SCREWED lol ..maybe a cam..id really like to see what those 4.10 gears will do for you first though..could be just what you need to dip into the 11s! ..about the grand prix..they already put out more horses then us with the GTPs..so it sa little easier for them to hit 11s on similar mods as us..i dont plan on 11s with my dry setup..but i do once the direct port system goes in..which is going to be late may/early june..so i wont have it for AIS..but im gonna get a crap load of pics..powerdyne set me back but im gonna need it to hit my original goal of 12.8 ..possibly coulda done it on just my dry setup..but with the blower definitely
oh..im also going to be putting a 30 - 36 jet in the bypass T for the nitrous system to increase fuel pressure..bigger injectors wouldnt be doing me any good if i was going to keep the fuel pressure the same..now i will definitely be supplying all the fuel i need
12secondv6, i think you can push the car a little more. but dont get me wrong, you done wonders for us v6 fbodys. alot of people have mad respect for you including me.
but arent you still on stock internals? dont you have 3.23s in the rear? stock cam? it all comes done to who has the money. But i think you have the most impressive car for the amount of money you have in it. and i know your a hell of a driver.
now what i meant about the grad prixs, im not talkin about just the gtps. a buddy of mine in skool loves gps as i do camaro. so one day we were talking and hes like whats the fastest v6 fbody you know of and i told him about shirl. well he started showin me pics of the crazy grand prix's built to hell with turbos and superchargers. there was a good bit of them too. like guys goin all out. i just wanna see what a fbody completly done up can do. i mean look at the 9 second hondas! sure theres only a few but hey if they can why cant we. look at those buick gn's i have a magazine wiht one that had 850 HP! sure hes running like 25 psi and a 287 (i think) buick series 2 block. but hey hes still got 850 hp from a v6!
im so sick of the oh its just a 6 cylender camaro. but then they'll be like Oh man did you see that bad@ss gtp?! wow but guess what its still a 3.8! sure its forged and charged but still a 3.8!

I think the bird... with enough practice... has a 12.0... maybe 11.9 in it in its current set up.... but I'm greedy
Stock internals
3:23's
Stock cam
:D
But... time for 4:10's and aftermarket cam :D

i think you should do it man..the gears and the cam..the choice of cam is going to be very important obviously..but i really think that will push you into the high 11s
yeah shirl has boost and nitrous but james has nitrous and major weight reduction so they kinda even out. i think the cam and gears will get you at least mid 11's. Good luck with the new parts.

Still trying to find oil leak on my Camaro, it’s a tough one. I think it is the oil pressure sender myself. Leaking when raving and going into boost....
