I dont really have that much knowledge on nitrous or how exactly it works, i mean i know that it mixes with the gas, but i have been told that a nitrous kit would be good for a good hp boost. so my question is how much risk am i at of blowing up my engine or ruining it if i were to start spraying? and also what kind of kit should i get if i was to get around a 100shot kit.

thanks for the threads, they answered most of my questions. im still kinda questioning whether or not to do it since i dont have enough money right now to fix anything if it did so happen to break. im sure most of you can compare to my situation.

there are no definites with nitrous..if you are not prepared for something to happend..i would suggest saving up some dough..or going VERY small..30 - 50 shot..or maybe saving up for forced induction if you just dont think nitrous is for you

probably a very good suggestion. i will save up my money and wait till i can afford to fix my mistakes.

I paid $450 for mine......
Unknown history... junkyard motor.... 80,000+ miles.....

Goes high 13's N/A
Low 12's on the bottle
Seen 33 MPG.

$450 is cheap in the grand scheme of things.

I don't know if I should take my new LG4 (305ci) engine and sell it or hang on to it for some $.
I'll keep it if I have the room, I think.

If you have the room
And it costs nothing for storage

Better to have it..... just in case!
