  • Motor is in.

Well got my motor in on Friday.. It wouldnt stay running with the Intense PCM in it so we put the stock PCM in and it runs fine.. The motor has

Forged diamond coated pistons .10 over with 9.5:1 compression, L32 rods, polished crank, SSMS heads milled down with comp valve springs and retainers, comp cam 210,220, 534intlift, 547 exlift, 113LS. Comp lifters, Intense lightweight pushrods, all ARP bolts. The compression of the motor is 10.0:1. The car runs like a bat out of hell.. above 3500 it just takes off.. I still have my stock rev limiter so I need to raise it to 6750 and spin the motor to 6500.. The intense stage 2 PCM was suppose to do that but it didnt work.. I cant wait to get it tuned on motor.. I will use my Maft + to pull timing when I spray.. Cant wait to spray the 125 shot on it..

wow, that's a good amount of lift on it; can't wait to see your new numbers, the old dyno numbers had some crazy torque on em. Will Intense try to fix your pcm to get it to work?

I bought your cam from you.. I will probably get dynoed on the 1st when I get paid.. Intense is sending me another PCM to see if that one works.. I must have like at least 6 engine codes because I eliminated my EGR and I know the cam and heads are throwing my PCM a fit.. I read 50 psi fuel pressure at a Idle and at Wide open throttle its close to 60 psi..

                Thanks!
                Well lets break it down..

The pistons are Diamond, forged and coated 9.5:1 compession ratio with total seal rings bored 10 over, Have the forged L32 rods, and a stock L36 crank that has been polished and heat treated.. The heads are magnus's old ones with comp 105's and titanium retainers with comp valve locks. the heads have been milled down I forget how much but the motor has 10.0:1 compression..Intense lightweight pusrods,Comp OE R lifers.. The intake has been portmatched to the heads by my machine shop.. I have ARP bolts on everything, intense oil pressure boost spring that gives me about 70psi pressure at idle and 80-90psi at WO throttle..The cam is a custom comp 210,220 duration with 534 inlift and 547 exlift and a 113LS.. For price of parts just go online to intense racing but the rods I got from a buddy of mine that works at a chevy dealership and they were 25.00 a piece after his nice discount..

Now for the machine work.. to port match the intake they charged me 300.00 for upper and lower intake.. To polish and heat treat the crank it was 75.00, to balance and bluprint the motor was 125.00 which was good because them L32 rods are heavier then our stock rods but the diamond pistons are lighter then our stock pistons. To assemble the motor from pan to throttle body was 400.00.
That is it..I am probably going to get dynoed after payday on the 1st or so..
