On a wet kit were are you all putting your nozzle at if my owners manuel says to put it after my mass sensor in the boot. But my mass sensor is bolted on my engine block their is no boot other than the one before it. So where would be a good place to put them on a 97 3.8 firebird??
the nozzle has to be tapped into the throttle body after the MAF but before the throttle body blade..take off the air hose and stuff a rag in there (so you dont get any metal shavings in your intake or engine)..drill the required hole..then use the 1/16" NTP pipe tap to thread the hole..then your nozzle should screw right in..i have some pics on my site where my nozzle used to be in the throttle body (its in the air box now because i run a dry kit) ..James (12secondV6) has some really good shots of his wet setup too..there are guys that run a wet nozzle before the MAF..however..i would not recommend it and go by the book..after the MAF..before the TB blade
(by the way.."jets" are the little pieces used to control fuel and nitrous flow..you are referring to a "fogger nozzle"..for wet kits..dry it would be a "fan nozzle")

nice ..definitely an old site..it lists your personal best nitrous ET as 13.8 lol ..i wanted to see the site cuz im trying to hit your times this year..what did it take to go from 14.8/13.8 to 14.3/13.0?..did you just get that out of the heads and cam?..just curious
before cam i just used conveter and maft+ with basic intake and exshuast work and my times were 13.0 and 14.3

^is that kit specific to your car?..a lot of universal kits say "3 - 6 inches before the throttle body"..however..on a vehicle equiped with a MAF it is supposed to be after the MAF as far as i know
Ok thanks for the help on where to put the nozzle im going to start installing it today.
Another question while i was looking at the kit, the microswith. Where does that go ??? anyone got close up and far back pics of that???
Just Another V6 ..interesting..it does show it very clearly..i wouldnt wanna be spraying my MAF with wet fuel..then again i would be spraying a wet kit on a 3.8 unless it was direct port..but thats just me..especially since its also my dialy driver..but if i were going to..id go by the book i guess
benavidez19 ..there is a metal piece on the throttle body directly to the right side of the MAF that is a perfect mounting point for the WOT microswitch bracket..you can kind of see it on my car here:
..its a little covered up by a red wire but you can make it out and get the idea..on mine theres a screw that goes right down through that metal part that holds the small microswitch mounting bracket..you then bend the bracket into place so the switch is only hit by the part that holds the throttle cable only at wide open throttle
Entering "nozzle" into the search would have provided an answer to your first question.
On the 3800 series 2 engine, due to maf being located in the TB, the WET kit nozzle MUST be located AFTER the MAF.
Dry kit is BEFORE the maf
As for the "microswitch" are you refering to the WOT switch? AKA Wide Open Throttle switch.
If yes.... it is positioned so that when the throttle body, through the throttle cable, is WOT then nitrous is activated. To mount correctly... a bracket is needed ( it can be a simple piece of bent metal drilled out) and just screw it onto the TB off one of the existing screws/ bolts in there. Just adjust the brakcet so that when WOT through the TB cable is achieved the microswitch engages

Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
