I think your problem has gone way past spark plugs. Just becasue they cost the most dosen't mean there the best.
Iridium plugs have caused problems for people before.
At this point I don't think your motor is safe to use with nitrous.
In a nitrous motor you use cold, cheap copper plugs and change the, often. You might even modify them a little by shortening the grounding arm.\'85 Z28, T-tops new LG4 and TH700
\'85 3.4L 5-speed
mods: http://www.cardomain.com/id/oil_pan_4 the nitrous exhaust O2 safety, pg 3.
Areo space materal engineer wantabe

If you are going to run nitrous or work on your car you can pick up a compression or compression and leak down tester for less then $60.
A plain old compression tester would be cheaper.
I have herd you can make your own leak down tester out of a cheap compression tester for less then $20 in hard ware store parts.\'85 Z28, T-tops new LG4 and TH700
\'85 3.4L 5-speed
mods: http://www.cardomain.com/id/oil_pan_4 the nitrous exhaust O2 safety, pg 3.
Areo space materal engineer wantabe

yea, i heard iridium/platinum hot plugs are bad for n2o, (generally 1 step colder for every 50-75 hp. IE TR55's stock... TR6's for 50shot N2O.) but you definitely have problems other than plugs. The knock is prob. a rod bearing, and your cruise might not work due to the engine being in open loop because knock sensor going crazy, but maybe just a fuse?JN
