      Clutch should hold.

      Driver error?

      Fluid check?

      Other manual bits check?

I'm an auto guy... I'm limited on 5 speed stuff

How many miles are on the clutch?? Did you get the flywheel turned when you installed it??

Shenanigans nailed it when he said the fluid. Changed it this morning and the problem is solved. I left the Drag Radials on so I could test it and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gears the clutch held fine with the 100 shot.

Now that all the power is going to the wheels, I have a new problem. Massive tire hop. The M/T ET Street Radials won't stay on the ground. All the way through 1st and 2nd and part way through 3rd they just hop. Time to upgrade the suspension.

Once I get this worked out, the car should be pretty quick. Thanks for everyones help.

            Oh, to answer questions;

            Flywheel was turned
            3000 miles on the clutch
It could have been driver error but it looks like is was the fluid.

You mean the Lower Control Arms? Thats what I am looking at. I also want a Torque Arm. I think those two would be a good step. Your thoughts?

Lower control arms aka trailing arms.... try those first.

I got into low 1.7's with the stock tq arm..... unless you have the spare cash for it... don't get it right now.... but, mine kicks @ss!

I run boxed hotchkis..... VERY good.... but VERY heavy!

BMR makes a nice tubular version.... pretty cheap too... might want to look into that.

The BMR tubular LCAs are on the way. I went ahead and ordered the BMR Torque Arm also. Next month I will do shocks and the Panhard Rod and that should hold me for awhile as far as suspension.

The tq arm, is it adjustable or fixed?

Fixed at -2*. In most of the post I have seen about the adjustable arms (on LS1tech.com), people set them for -2*. I don't think I will be spending time trying to fine tune it so the -2* seems close enough and it saves a bunch of money.
