Can anyone approximate the torque gains (at the crank not the wheels) from an NX 75 wet shot? Im asking regarding a basically stock 3.8.

It's going to add about 100 to 75 ft/lb of tq.
About 100 tq near your activation RPM (say 3600rpm)because you have more nitrous going into the cylinders because the nirtous is sparyed in at a fixed amount no mater what the RPM and it has more fuel:nitrous(about 6:1)/less normal air:fuel (12.5:1)mixture compaired to higher rpms, plus the V.E. is higher down there.
That's why nitrous breaks stuff. A 150 shot could add over 200ft/lb at activation.
How it happens^^^
vvvWhy it happens
Look at it mathamaticly add "75hp" @ 3600rpms and you get 109ft/lb of torque so I guessed close up there.
5252/"@ what ever rpm" x hp you want to add = new tq "@ what ever rpm"
Kind of an inverted tq. @ rpm = hp, with a twist.
Is that what you wanted to know?
I'll have to add that equation to my list, I just created it for this  .
Let me try it for my z28.
If torque peaks at 4200rpm @ 480ft/lb
Add the 150 shot and I get, 670 ft/lb @ 4200rpm , me at that point>

Well......
120 dry shot I picked up 111 RWHP and 160 RWTQ

100 wet shot I picked up 136 RWHP and 180 RWTQ

Does that give you a ball park range?

I would say over 100 RWTQ gain

I think you ment to put that in the thread about the mustang and the huge nitrous shot they wanted to put on it.

Plenty of fuel due to lack of control with a wet shot, maybe.

actually fire dept are not allowed to accept funds like that, if they did, and someone died they would be liable and they could get sued....being a government funded so to say equity the government could be sued as well for "allowing" such a thing to happen. nuff said
