Sorry, I couldn't resist! Anyways, it really depends on the condition of the engine, mileage, and what you plan on during to it. The pistons (from what I've been told) and head gaskets don't like nitrous. I blew 4 sets of head gaskets on my 3.4. One set was blown w/ a 100 shot and stock head bolts after 2 passes, 1 was blown w/ a 100 shot and ARP studs on the street and the other two blew with a 150 shot and ARP studs also on the street. The head gaskets can't handle that much, trust me. :D I would be cautious about a 75 shot.

craziness..and im cautious about running a 100 shot on my 3.8 haha..didnt the 150 cause damage because it backfired?..i wonder what time you woulda seen if you were able to suck that juice down..possibly a high 12 i would think

It never EVER backfired. The head gaskets failed the same way they did everytime. I think it had more to do with the 4 bolt per cylinder design more than anything else.

This is a VERY open ended question.

A 10 HP shot could blow the motor

A 100 HP shot could blow the motor

Depends on current condition of motor....
          Tuning of nitrous....
          Placement of nozzle....
          And many other factors...
