today i went to get some juice and it turned at that the guy's fill station was out..so he let me borrow a bottle he had filled there..but there was a pound or two missing he said..the highest i could get the bottle pressure was 800 psi..i was testing out a 100 shot..when i first injected it would hit really nicely..but then it seemed pretty slow the rest of the run..it was like that every time i tried..which was about 3 times..i then tried increasing the nitrous jet to compensate for the possible rich condition and it seemed to hit a little harder..but then i had nothing..purged..and fond out that i was out of juice completely..i didnt have hp tuners running..and am now out of juice so i cant do any logging..do these symptoms..along with the bottle psi..go along with running rich??..thanks!

What he said ^^ Plus, you should have purged to test the nitrous out. You can basically tell by the intensity/loudness of the purge if you have juice or if there is hardly anything left in the bottle. Did the car bog badly or stall when sprayed? If it did, you were either low or out of juice and fouled the plugs. They are probably black with soot... pull one and check it. of course it would run rich with that low of a bottle pressure, think about it, the N2O jet was set for a 100 HP shot but was not spraying 100HP worth of N2O due to the low pressure, however the fuel system was operating at normal pressure and injected the ammount of fuel you would need for 100 HP, without the added O2 from the N2O you just had a lot of extra fuel

Ok..... w/o an A/F monitor... you are assuming you were running rich?
If psi is low.... you can run rich
If bottle is not full... you can possibly run slightly rich
If not dyno tuned..... you could run rich.
Check plugs anyways....
Then... hit the dyno... NOT for #'s... but to finme tune A/F.Race car - gone but not forgotten - 1997 firebird V6

I know rich.. if it hits, then stumbles, or feels like the car is fluctuating the power..
I ran the car rich as crap, I had no tuning, and it at the dyno it never got above 10.0 A/F. I just backed off on the fuel pill a bit to compensate, but still i knew i was shorting myself out. I changed plugs every other weekend, they never fouled out, but i just had an extra set to change out. I know there was room for more time. but at least you werent lean!

My whole point is that he wants us to guess off of a guess. Sure, you could assume that he was running rich since his bottle wasn't up to pressure. But what if something else is wrong that was making him run lean. He's implying that the only thing wrong with the car was the bottle pressure (and I try not to assume anything). And since it isn't logged, we have no idea what is going on with that thing. No offense meant, but I wouldn't let 1dv6 put air into my tires.

Call it what you will. I am simply saying that if you want accurate suggestions/opinions, you should have some sort of accurate info, not opinions. I guess I am getting tried of your seemingly pointless posts. Actually, let me rephrase that. You seem to talk just to talk regardless if its anything beneficial or not.
