• Not going to be spraying for a while

Well I messed up my throwout bearing tonight spraying a 99-04 Mustang GT.. I destroyed him but now My Thowout bearing is making all kinds of racket.. Its a stage 3 clutch with the spec bearing.. I still have a stock tranny and a stock rear end, that is really making some racket also.. I figure I should run all motor untill I get a tranny and a rear so I can enjoy the summer in vabeach.. If I keep on spraying my car then I will most likley break something and wont be able to drive it.. but man I changed my spark plug wires today and found a semi burnt wire and boy did that really wake up my car.. When I ran the GT we were doing a 60mph roll and when I hit it the rear just broke loose on me.. It was pretty bad a$$.. So but anyways no N2O for me for a while :(

SOrry to hear it... Its why I gave up on my nitrous endeavor... Just more money then I wanted to spend, and I likely needed to spend to get the results I wanted. Sure the nitrous itself isn't too bad but then you have...

-dyno tuning
-likely need of better clutch
-likely gonna break my transmission(I have a history of wrecking T5s and other drivetrain components)
-and likely need of something like hptuners

that stuff really jacks up the price.

Well I have a spec stage 3 clutch.. I knew I was going to break $hit but you got to pay in order to play.. Just purchased a new throw out bearing and clutch master cylinder today at advance.. It comes with a lifetime warrenty.. The throw out bearing itself is 50.00 and this whole new clutch master cylinder comes with a new throw out bearing for 70.00.. Tomorrow I am going to pull the tranny and hopefully get in running..

This is not very encouraging for us other M5 nitrous users. I know mine is not far behind.

Dont power shift and the tranny will last for a while.. I was spraying on my 1st tranny for 1 year 1/2 and then I learned to power shift.. The tranny broke 3 months after I learned how to beat on it..

Well we replaced my throw out bearing tonight and the noise is still there.. I think it might be my input shaft bearing on the tranny.. If so that makes 2 broke T5's in 4 months.. Not bad.. I am going to take it to My buddy who works on trannies for a living to let him hear it and if it is the tranny for sure then g-force here I come.. You got to pay to play..

Its an upgrade for the T-5 manual trans in our cars. Here is a thread about it.

http://www.camarov6.com/cgi-bin/ulti...3;t=003823;p=2

Of course, this is only for real drivers, you know, the ones with manual transmissions!

I agree that the autos are faster, and believe me, at the track I wish I had an auto. However, I have to give James a hard time about something! ;) ;)
