I'm think'n about stroke'n my motor to a 4.05l with the zzp stroker kit... I wanna spray afterwards for sure just... what kit would be tha best for it? or is there not really a difference as far as nitrous is concerned whether my motor is stroked or not? Wait scratch that... I did some more reading... it's not recommended over a 50 shot... idk about stroking it at all now...
Currently the ZZP stroker kit, 4.1L, is for N/A applications.
Power adders are not suggested.
Rumors of ZZP making a forged version have been posted.
Intense is developing a 4.1L stroker kit in a forged version.
There is an Aussie company that has a 4.2L stroker kit for their version of our v6 engines.... they have a sister company here in the US out in Cali.... we are hoping this will be perfected for us.
Race car - gone but not forgotten - 1997 firebird V6
nitrous et & mph: 12.168 & 110.95 mph, n/a 13.746 & 96.38 mph
2013 Dodge Challenger SRT8: 12.125, 116.45
2010 Ford Taurus SHO: no times yet
So if I went ahead and bought a NOS or NX kit and waited for the forged version and then put it in~everything would work just the same or would I need adjustments?~and has anyone contacted this cali company about making that 4.2 work for us? and will it be forged?
