i was thinking of going with a wet setup when i get my motor rebuilt is this setup safer for a stock motor

Why are you getting your motor rebuilt stock? If it aint broke don't fix it BUT if it breaks upgrade it.
And don't try that "I don't have the money" BS, the increased reliability and potential of the motor far outweighs the difference in cost so much its worth selling bone marrow and maybe a kidney for.01 Camaro A4 Convertible

was running a dry 100 shot and got a hickup burnd up plugs and rings was just gunna freshen up a junk yard motor and put it in lack of funds is not aproblem just dont want things to get crazy like 500 bucks for pistons ive got a house and a kid that need things also you know what im sayin1995, 3.4l, v6 automatic, no pcm mods, no cat turbo thrush muffler, dry 100 shot of nos(ended the life of the car befor its time), cai, T.B. heater bypass,
