can you take a pic of it or do you know if it is a 37 or 45 degree flared end? I make those all day long at work, but generally just with #4 jic 37% flares (also called -4AN). If thats what it is, just look in the phone book under hydraulic hose. I could give you a bunch of info you dont care about on why they would have it, but i wont.
Chances are you want to stay away from pro auto or performance shops and from reuasables. Not because they wont work, but because they are generally 5 times as much. Shouldn't run over 10 bucks for everything. (If you call them ask if they can swedge on to stainless teflon hose) and just make sure of the thread. That is all if it is just a common flare, if it is an oem type bottle thread you will have to go through the factory and i just wasted your time for nothing .97 RS
Member Status: F-Body Owner
Member Number: 7705
Registered: September 13, 2005
Posts: 24
Email Address: hfoxx123@yahoo.com
Location: Minnesota
Occupation: Database Administration
Homepage: http://none
Car: uh a camaro

if it the actual bottle thread it will be big (like measure over an inch on the male side)and not a thread you would be able to get put on by anyone but the company that made it.
If it look like it goes on this
http://static.summitracing.com/globa...os-17535_m.jpg
it would prolly measure around 3/8 or so on the outside of the male threads. If it is this then it should be able to get done easily. Generally (not always) the hoses i do are 1/4 jic (-4 an) but they can also be 3/16 thread. Check your paperwork and go from there. If it is 1/4 then any decent shop can do it.
You could try to have the factory fix it, but to be honest, it breaking is generally from being over tightened and they may say tough. With jic threads always be sure to not use any kind of sealant (because it seals on the bevel) and just hand tigh until it doesnt swivel, then a 1/4 turn of the wrence and thats all.
If it turns out it is just 1/4 female jic swivel on the end of your hose and you cant find a place to fix it i can do it for you at cost (2-3 bucks) but it will have to be shipped to and from me so it will prolly be like 15 bucks or something. Just a last option. Hope any of my ramblings helped you out.
(also maybe you can list your kit and someone with the same can let you know sizes and such. I have done 3/16 and 1/4 inch for a zex kit for instance, so sizes can vary)
