word. I don't even run nitrous or know enough about it to consider running it yet but I glance through here now and then. I have learned enough to know he is doing it *** backwards. tune, then up the shot. dosen't HP tuners support widebands? I think thats how Art had his car setup.

      Ok, play nice.

He is aware how we feel.

He is currently busy recovering, I think.

100 octane cam 2...... aka race gas... I've run a couple gallons..... on a hot day.... with an attempt at 125 shot.....

      I rarely have done it

One really needs to respect nitrous before they use it. I think it is veiwed more as a toy in this case but what do i know I'm an FI guy.

no, but as I said in the octane boosters thread, it would be pretty pointless. the higher octane fuel is formulated to take on higher temperatures/pressures without premature detonation; this is ideal for engines with power adders, such as turbochargers, superchargers, and nitrous. The only upside to higher octane fuels is that they contain solvents which also clean your engine and fuel injectors, but you'd be better off using dedicated products like Chemtool, STP, etc. ... or acetone, like I and a few other daring (and smart;) souls in here do. </font>
How many ounces do you use?
I just put 4 oz. in my last tank (About 14 gallons total, filled 13 gallons)

as far as I understand he's in the hospital, and they're still trying to figure out what's wrong with him. His a/f ratio last time we were at the track was (please excuse me i dont know much about tuning) 14/1 or somewhere around there. His car seems to run strong, the motor has forged internals so i think it can handle it for a little while longer. I agree with you guys though, he does need to tune it more before he starts upping the shot more.

been looking for the site where someone used the booster 2 fill ups in a row and it foulded up the spark plugs. they also had an ongoing write up of trying to find where some knock retard was comming from if anyone knows the site I am talking about. just saw it the other day too. hmmmmm
