I just put my zex 75 shot kit on and i can barly feel a difference in boost. I mean its there but not like nitrous should be. what should i do guys? is it because of tunning? or ignition?should i get msd ignition tunning? i have new sparkplugs in there. i know it can handle 100 shot maybe i should order some. help me out plz

is this a wet or a dry kit?..dont assume that because it is a 75 shot that the car can handle it..with the correct supporting mods yes..but that may mean that you need an upgraded fuel pump..even for a 75 shot..i would check out your fuel pressure..also..can you describe how your kit is set up? (bottle position, nozzle position/angle, etc) ..do you have any pics?..also..the lower the speed you are at when you inject the more power increase you will feel..so if you're already doing 60 - 80 mph or something will will not feel it as much at all..do you have any pics of the setup? also what psi are you injecting at? A low PSI will make the shot smaller right off the bat. I know I can feel my 75 wet shot really good when I do it. It puts me in the seat decently. So yea let us know about the stuff 1dang. mentioned and also PSI.

The best way to check out the nitrous hit is to have it in 3rd gear for a 5speed and floor it at 3k.. let the rpms climb to around 3500 and flip the switch.. let it spray for about a 1000 rpms and turn it off but keep it floored.. That is what I do when someone wants me to take them for a ride.. I floor it in 3rd and say this is all motor, hit the switch say this is with nitrous, and turn it off and say this is all motor..

My 75 dry shot spraying at 3100 rpm gives me a huge kick in the a**. Can definately tell the difference. If you're questioning weather or not your kit is working, don't upgrade to a higher shot to "fix" things. Trouble shoot a little bit, you'll probably find something small and be spraying properly in no time!

ok im going to get some pics for you, im going to make a car domain for the car just because its easyer for me to post the pics. i ordered 100 shot from holley they should be here in a couple of days...oh, btw, my kit is a DRY kit and im shooting 65 shots at the moment. i know when i raced a ws6 i fliped the switch at first gear and punched it at wot and i got him off the line but he got me in the long run big time. ill make the cite right now for you to see my car, remember i just got rear ended about a week ago so i have fix the bumper. thanks guys

dry kits you won't "feel" as much because they produce less torque than a wet kit. That is why we feel the wet 75 shot and you don't feel your dry 75 or 65 shot, whatever it is. My 50 shot I really couldn't tell to much

there ya go guys, some nice pics of the nitrous, let me know what ya think, as the post is "not as big as boost as it should be?" maybe its because of the bottle mounted, if you guys think theres a beter location let me know, im open for all suggestions and opinions. ;)

well I am afraid your nitrous line is to close to the maf and not spreading out like it should. Dry kits should be in the air intake so that it can spread out and such. That looks like a good spot for a wet nozzle.

Any other guys agree with me here?

well i can put it in the plastic part of the intake i dont know, but i thought it had to be before the maf

oh yeah..that nozzle is just about behind the MAF..you want it as far away (in front) of the MAF as possible so the nitrous has time to turn to a gasious state before hitting the MAF..liquid fuel or nitrous can eventually cause damage to the MAF..i would stick it into the plastic part of the so the nitrous is spraying straight in directly towards the throttle body..let me see if i can dig up some pics of my setup..you may want to consider one like James has..get rid of that plastic part that the intake attaches to and replace it with the rubber elbow..that would probably be best

so mine is after the maf correct? its not having enough time to turn into a gas and there for it needs to be like what? 6 inchest before the maf maybe more? i dont know..do you think thats why in not being put in the seet? i can BARLEY feel the juice, kinda disapointed in it. i just orderd 100 shots because the kick wasnt what i thought it would be, 1dangerousv6, do you think thats why?
