I was looking at the 5175 but saw his too.. what do you guys think? Would it be practical to get this and then buy the other parts that I need to make it as good as the 5175? This one has purge..

honestly..for the price..id just buy the new and complete 5175 kit..a blow down tube is for safety..and is required to use nitrous at the track..basically its a tube that comes off of the bottle and goes down through the floor of the car..if the pressure in the bottle gets high enough..a disk ruptures and the nitrous blows down through the tube instead of blowing up your car :D
IMO a nitrous kit is a nitrous kit all dry kits work the same all wet kits work the same, there's a few fittings here and there that make up the different kits for specific applications.
If you can find it a few hundred bucks cheaper and have to buy a few $10 fittings it wouldn't make sense for you to NOT buy the cheaper used kit.
