well it depends on if you want a wet kit or a dry kit. I suggest reading up the differences here in the forums using the search button.

Also what other supporting mods do you have?

I personally run a Nitrous Express Wet Kit and it is jetted with a 100 shot.

Also are you looking to buy new or used? It is usually better to buy nitrous new so you know all the solenoids and everything are going to work correctly.

I just want more horsepower but I see a lot of people have the nos dry kit which is better Im asking because I want to buy a nitrous kit and don't wanna have to keep upgrading thats why I want to know whats the best one for v6 camaros.
Also what is maximum shot my car can handle because this guy has a 12 v6 camaro with 175 shot

Your car will not handle a 175 shot without major upgrades and some forged internals. Start small. The most you would probably want to put on would be a 100 shot without starting to question your engine's limits. Even then it depends on weather your running wet or dry. If dry, you're looking at upgrading the fuel pump for a 100 shot. But you'd want to start small.

my car held a 225 :D ...i regularly ran a 150 and 175 until my head gasket blew..take it from me..DO NOT run shots that high unles you have some SERIOUSLY built car..with that said..i would get dry kit NOS 5175 and start with the 85 jet it somes with..it also comes with a good few safety features

for the max power out of a kit wet is the way to go, but it also is somewhat more dangerous because if it puddles, there will be a nice backfire, lol.

first time with nitrous??? get the nos5175 kit.
start small with the 85 shot jet and see how you like it. then if you want more, upgrade the fuel pump and put in the 100 shot.

I refuse to use NOS...don't ask why. But i am told that ZEX has the best and safest computer system in the business...is this true?

i dunno if it is true, not to many people here have zex and I hardly see people on other forums using it either. Must be a ricer brand. The majority of the kits I see are NX and NOS. I personally am a big fan of NX.

a zex kit will not screw up the computer if you use it correctly..nitrous kits..no matter what brand or how many cool electronics they come with..all work in the same way..adding fuel to an oxidizer (the nitrous) for more power :D ..thats it

I know it won't screw up the computer, and i know that they all work the same, but so do turbos, they ram air down your motor by having your exhaust gas spool a wheel which spools another, which sucks in air, and rams it in your motor. But that doesn't mean that one kit isn't better than another, or more safe. I am just saying that i heard the zex kit is the safest due the way the computer is set up, and it is really easy to install. And if someone knows different, please correct me.

no i was just agreeing with you..i've heard from some people who think it will screw up the computer..as for zex's computer..im not sure..people may think that because venom had a computer controlled kit..but they pulled it off the market because the computers were malfunctioning and blowing people's motors..i think it was the VCM 2000..i've never seen anyone in person with that kit..it was actually the one i was first going to get but it was already pulled..i wouldnt worry about zex's kit though..they're a big popular company and their kit is very commonly used..so although they are somewhat new..their kit has been tested a lot..and tested on many different engines
